Also known as 'Heartburn' because to him, the color red is spicy, Josh moved to Oklahoma in 2019 and prefers to do traditional tattoos. If you have a story or just want to pick a tattoo from off the wall, he wants to tattoo you. Josh makes a living doing walk-in tattoos but when he isn't doing that, he's standing in a field somewhere hoping his phone isn't even capable of ringing.

AKA 'Atom Artcore' owned a shop in Seattle called Artcore Tattoo for 20 years before getting tired of not having 100+° summers and moving to Oklahoma. If you told him to do whatever he wanted and fell asleep on his table, you'd wake up with most of your body tattooed black. He is capable of walk-in tattoos but is happiest being booked doing all day appointments until the day he dies.

ABOUT 1889
1889 opened in September of 2026. We do walk-in or appointments per availability, serving the OKC and Guthrie areas. Josh and Atom have both tattooed in Oklahoma for over a decade combined and love what Oklahoma has given them. The shop is located at 107 West Cleveland Ave in Guthrie and is open Wednesday to Sunday. The best way to get a tattoo is to come see us in person so we can go over the specifics of what you'd like. Our pricing is based on what the tattoo is, where it's going and the size. our minimum is $80, we can work with your budget and we'd love to tattoo you.
